Description

Job Description Title: Regional Sales Manager Reports to: CEO Location: Mid-West major city Scope of Job The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) acts as the primary field representative to markets, end users and customers in the assigned territory. RSM is responsible for creating profitable revenue growth by selling company?s products and services within the scope of the company?s policy & strategy. Responsibilities: 1. Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers in accordance with Company strategy, value propositions and competitive advantage. 2. Close sales of products per terms of the pricing program. 3. Adhere to daily and weekly meeting schedules in a timely manner. 4. Ensures the proper representation and recognition of the brand to the ultimate end-user and manages and educates distribution towards this end. 5. Follow up with assigned leads and meet assigned deadlines. 6. Responsible for all field sales activities in an assigned geographic territory. 7. Develop and achieve short and long term sales goals for the Company?s products in the assigned territories and markets. 8. Make necessary field trips, contact customers, distribution and end-users; attend conventions and exhibitions as required to promote the sale of products in the assigned areas. 9. Work with other field sales managers from other territories within the company in a team environment to achieve maximum results for the Company as a whole. 10. Be technically knowledgeable of applications within area of responsibility and provide consultation and technical solutions to customer end-user application problems. 11. Be knowledgeable and conversant in all pertinent literature and technical bulletins relevant to market. 12. Be aware of and participate in any local associations that may contribute to the community awareness of the brand and produce sales opportunities. 13. Must use and maintain Company CRM


Requirements

Qualifications: ? Previous sales and territory management experience with emphasis on profitable growth. ? Prior Knowledge of Civil Engineering or erosion control ? Aggressive and willing to make cold calls ? Computer skills; use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat and Microsoft Outlook. ? Highly self-motivated and goal oriented. Able to work independently. ? Excellent time management skills ? Travel as necessary; some weekend travel may be required o Travel primarily within defined geographic territory but may require travel to corporate offices, or other territories in support of sales team efforts, both domestic and international. ? Travel requires visits to physically demanding field sites such as building and construction sites, etc. ? Strong presentation and inter-personal skills
